The awesome RCI ‘Super Duty U2002’ is the new name for the microphone stand, formerly known as the Valan PMS3.

Hailed for their ease of use, aesthetic qualities and quality of construction, the Valan’s were quickly adopted by some of the greatest performers and studios alike.

The Valan Atlas stand was first produced in England, in the 60’s / early 70’s. Unfortunately the company producing them went out of business and the stands were discontinued by the late 70’s.

Since being discontinued, the original Stands  have gained a legendary status and are therefore very much sought after and very rare!

US based company RCI, has tooled up  these remarkable stands to the highest of standards and we are now proud to offer them for the first time for over 30 years! Hand Made, Machined and Cast at RCI Starlite USA these stands use pure brass tubing and machined components of the  the best possible quality made in the USA. Nothing made in china or any other country. Even the Triple chrome Plating is done right here in Bridgeport Connecticut. This is an old fashion durable Triple Chrome Process to ensure durability and quality. Same with the casting of the unique base which is cast in solid brass (limited time) at RCI Starlite USA
